Lana Del Rey appeared on the Tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon to perform her song ‘Let Me Love You Like a Woman’. She sang the song – the October single from her upcoming LP Chemtrails Over the Country Club—In a pre-recorded spot in a rustic bar, backed by a band and backing singers. Check it out below.
In November, the singer announced that she would release an album of American classics and standards. Later that month, she would share a video for her own version of George Gershwin’s 1935 standard ‘Summertime’. Del Rey covered Sublime’s 1996 song ‘Doin’ Time ‘- which sampled Gershwin’s song – on last year’s song . Norman Fucking Rockwell!.
Her next LP with originals, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, originally scheduled for a September 5 release, has been delayed. She released the spoken poetry collection Violet leaning back over the grass in July.
