Newly engaged “Bachelorette” Tayshia Adams and the bachelor she chose, Zac Clark, crossed a very specific relationship rubicon on Wednesday when they visited Adams’ family’s California home and, crucially, Clark helped her father move a bank. .
(They say meeting the in-laws for the first time is a big deal, but really it all comes down to the first time together having to fit a couch through a doorway.)

The historic moment came a day after the finale of the show’s fraught 16th season. Clark, 36, and Adams, 30, explained on Wednesday that they “just date each other” for the possible future, with no wedding plans. California-born Adams also said she plans to be “bi-coast” in the future; Clark, a New Jersey native, works in New York, and the couple announced their move to the Big Apple by driving away in a cardboard taxi at the end of the finale.
