Willow Smith gets restraining order against man who allegedly traveled from Oklahoma to LA to stalk the star
- The 20-year-old star was given a restraining order against 39-year-old Walter James Whaley earlier this month
- He must now be a star at a distance of 100 feet and cease all attempts at communication
- Legal documents say he infringed Smith’s property last December but was unable to get into the house
- The police were called, but they did not immediately arrest Whaley
- A Greyhound card stating he had traveled from Oklahoma the day before was found when Whaley was searched by authorities
- Smith alleges that Whaley also contacted her via social media
- According to the reports, a private investigator also found Whaley to be a convicted sex offender
Willow Smith received a warrant against an obsessed fan earlier this month.
The singer / actress, 20, says she is being chased by Walter James Whaley, 38, who traveled from Oklahoma to Los Angeles, California to stalk her, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.
He must now stay 100 meters away from her at all times and stop trying to communicate with her.

According to Smith’s documents, Whaley was able to get to her California estate around Christmas, but couldn’t find her way in.
Her personal security called the police about the offender and, although they responded quickly, he was not taken into custody.
The doctor goes on to say that police found a Greyhound bus ticket on Whaley, which showed that he had traveled from Oklahoma the day before.
Security cameras were able to capture the suspect sleeping through the property.
Willow – the daughter of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith – said she was concerned about her safety in the legal documents, saying she fears Whaley will “ do everything possible to physically contact me.

Before physically stalking Smith, doctors say Whaley contacted Willow on social media, confessed his love, and even said he wanted children with her.
The star also says she hired a private investigator who found out that Whaley is a convicted sex offender.
After making her acting debut in dad’s movie I Am Legend at just seven years old, Willow’s breakout moment became her 2010 song Whip My Hair, which she released at just 10 years old.
She is now at the center of the Daytime Emmy-nominated Red Table Talk interview series, along with mom Jada and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
