WandaVision has kept Scarlet Witch’s real costume from our faces the whole time

WandaVision has been hiding the Scarlet Witch’s real costume from our faces the whole time. In episode 8, Wanda traveled back to the present through her trauma, but she also gave fans a tease of her more comedic outfit. During the flashbacks, she encountered the Infinity Stone which amplified her powers and saw a light-clad figure wearing a “signature” headdress. Now, in the promo images for the series, Elizabeth Olsen’s character is featured in her first sitcom appearance. But under her on the televisions are different outfits from different periods, including her last costume before WandaVisionThe styling is a bit more intricate, and there’s no hint of that robe, but it looks like the cape is on the way. For fans of the throwback costume that appeared during the Halloween episode, thank Olsen for that. She told Vanity Fair that she had fought hard for its inclusion earlier this year. It’s also great because people really get a kick out of it.

“I was so excited!” Olsen explained the publication. “We have a Halloween episode and they were trying to figure out how big a nod was to the character we were going to do, and it started with the classic Scarlet Witch costume. It was kind of a gypsy thing that has to wear a headband and I fought for it I thought, “No, we have to go all the way in … this is kind of like the best, if Paul does it, I’ll do it. I’m really in it’s not just a flash. I’m real “In the costume for a while. And it was so much fun. I loved it, and it was the perfect way to wear that costume, because you can’t take that costume seriously.”

WandaVision currently streaming on Disney +. 2021 also brings The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which premieres March 19 on Disney +.
