The seventh episode of WandaVision, ‘Breaking the Fourth Wall’, ended with one of the most groundbreaking, but also semi-expected, reveals so far: Agnes, the quirky neighbor played by Kathryn Hahn, has checked things all the time. And in fact she’s not “Agnes”, she’s Agatha Harkness, a Marvel cartoon character who was once Wanda’s mentor.
In the context of this show, the news was conveyed by the Munsters-inspired theme song It Was Agatha All Along Written by Kristen Andersen-Lopez and Robert Lopez. That’s all online now and, as the kids say … it’s a bop.

The Lopezs prescribed all the jingles WandaVision and felt even more freedom with this one than the others, which was discouraging. “We decided because we could hit every decade with that,” Kristen Anderson-Lopez told Marvel.comW.We had to take some swings to what would be Agatha’s music? Kathryn is taking the lead in this. She was great, ”said Robert Lopez. Kathryn is a musical star. Kristen’s sister also works with her Central park, where she is one of the main singing characters. And that’s how we know how great her voice is. “
Record with Hahn lasted half an hour, but the Lopezs knew they had something special.Then I thought: we have to work with her again. Because she was just a game [for anything], ”Said Anderson-Lopez.
Just what Agatha’s end game (pun intended) is in driving Wanda, Vision, the Hex, everything, we’ll probably find out soon enough. And with luck, it will be accompanied by more Lopez earwigs.
