UNITED STATES – The historic American golfer, Tiger Woods, announced on social networks his medical discharge after a car accident that left him in an emergency to a hospital and undergoing surgery for various injuries.

“Happy to announce that I will be returning home and continuing my recovery. I am very grateful for the expressions of support and encouragement that I have received in recent weeks, ”the text reads.

“I am grateful to the surgeons, doctors, nurses, and staff at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.”

Finally, he claimed, “I will recover at home and work to get stronger every day.”

Woods underwent lengthy surgery on his right lower leg and ankle after being taken to hospital. Additional foot and ankle bone injuries were stabilized with a combination of screws.

During trauma to the muscles and soft tissues of the leg, the muscle cover had to be surgically released to relieve pressure from swelling.
