Golfer Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident near Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Emergency workers responded to a rollover accident at approximately 7:12 a.m. local time and removed Woods from the vehicle using the “jaws of life.” He was taken to hospital for his injuries, but his condition is unknown at this time.
Woods’ car “sustained significant damage” in the accident, the sheriff’s department said.
