These cooking water notices have been discontinued in the San Antonio area

SAN ANTONIO – Millions of residents in the state and in the San Antonio area have had to undergo a Boil Water Notice following this week’s winter storm.

Most of these communications are still active and some people still don’t have water.

However, as of Saturday, February 20, some of these notices have been lifted, meaning that it is no longer necessary to boil water prior to consumption.

Below are the notices that are no longer in effect:

Bexar County

• The boiling water report for the city of Lytle has been canceled.

Karnes County

• The boiling water report for the city of Kenedy has been canceled.
