The material was recorded from the Hollywood Palladium in the city of Los Angeles on February 8, 2011 and included such artists as: Juanes, Andrés Calamaro, Calle 13, Diego Torres, Zach de la Rosa and Paulina Rubio. Since then it has been one of the most representative albums of “Los jefes de jefes”.

The first single from that album was “Golpes en el corazón”, where Paulina Rubio and Eduardo Hernández stole the hearts of the listeners: “We are very excited because it has been 10 years since we recorded the album and to this day. today it is quite successful thanks to the public, on this album there are songs that they remembered with a different kind of music, but in the style of Los Tigres del Norte. We didn’t expect this album to get that much acceptance and that these songs would pop up again as if they were new songs ”, shares in an interview with EL INFORMADO Eduardo, who remembers that Los Tigres always brings new challenges.

“We have always been a group that likes to innovate in the musical issue, looking for new ideas and new projects to keep up with people’s tastes and give them something different. When we record, we always remember to give them good material so that in this case they have good music from Los Tigres del Norte ”.

Last Monday, February 8, they have a life with Juanes to remember when they recorded the song “La jaula de oro” with him.

“He was very happy, he asked us that as he could go back to work, to be able to be at an event to sing ‘La caula de oro’ live and hopefully it will be soon as it has brought us a lot . of emotion he wanted to sing with us. And so we got in touch with several colleagues to see what can be done to further promote ‘MTV Unplugged’ ”.

Eduardo explains that through their social networks they will inform the public about other activities they will undertake to continue honoring this record label. As an anecdote, Eduardo recalls that when he had to record “Golpes en el corazón” with Paulina, he got very nervous, but it was worth it because that collaboration opened the doors to a new audience: “When she came to the studio to practicing the song, I got very nervous, I didn’t remember the lyrics until I adapted to it, but it was a very beautiful emotion and an anecdote that I will never forget ”.

With regard to the new plans, Eduardo points this out This Tuesday, February 16, they will start rehearsing and enter the studio to shape their new musical production that will not be published: “Cumbias are coming, ballads, rancheras and corridos are coming, it’s a very varied album, hopefully we’ll finish it soon to let them know when we’re going to release it,” he shares that there won’t be any. possible collaborations on this new album.

Regarding the pandemic, which halted their live performances, he points out that they had to take a forced vacation. “On March 14, we, Los Tigres del Norte, are going to celebrate a year that we are not working, and we feel a despair because we cannot go to work, travel and be with our audience, because this is our life, the group has been working for 50 years, we hope this will happen soon ”.

He concludes by saying that they recently participated in a campaign in the area where they live to get people vaccinated against COVID-19, that they are not afraid of it, as it contributes to caring for their health.
