According to court papers obtained exclusively by BOSSIP, “Love & Marriage Hunstville” stars Martell and Melody Holt have officially divorced. On March 12, an Alabama judge approved Martell and Melody for divorce on the grounds of “temper incompatibility” or irreconcilable differences.
According to the official documents obtained by BOSSIP, both parties will exercise joint legal and joint physical custody of their four minor children by determining their own weekly schedule. Neither will pay child benefits and both will share the expenses. Alimony was granted to neither party, and the estranged spouses agreed to dissolve multiple companies in which they had joint interests, including Holt & Holt Custom Homes, LLC.
As BOSSIP previously reported, Melody had filed for divorce from her longtime husband, saying their marriage had gone through an “irreparable breakdown” and there was no chance they would get back together. Melody asked that neither party should pay the other child support, and that both should maintain joint physical and legal custody of their children.
Later allegations surfaced that Martell fathered a child out of wedlock with a woman who was his perennial mistress whom he previously called a “ farmer. ” In the current season of ‘Love & Marriage Huntsville’, Martell confirmed the rumors were true, but also claimed that Melody was being unfaithful because ‘she stopped doing things to him, so she had to do them to someone else. Melody vehemently denied the claims.
Melody is currently pouring out her frustrations about her divorce in a song aptly titled ‘Tell Tale Signs’. Tomorrow, March 20, the song will be released with the following lyrics;
Rather be alone because you have problems. Stop calling my phone. I do not miss you. Remember when you didn’t care? Keep that energy there. We don’t even really need to speak. Just when you want to see the kids. “
