Tayshia Adams and fiancé Zac Clark go shopping at Zara while living their life together in New York

The bachelorette’s Tayshia Adams got the gift from a fiancé for Christmas this year.

On Sunday, the 30-year-old reality darling and her husband, Zac Clark, 36, – who won her heart at the hit show finale last week – leaned into their lives as New York City residents as they walked around town.

Tayshia traded her Laguna Beach lifestyle for the bustling city and saw some shopping with her Jersey-born sweetheart after the holidays when the couple met Zara.

Adams had their best East Coast street style, showing off in jeans and a pair of black heeled boots as she walked around town.

She picked up a fur-trimmed leather jacket and carried a Christian Dior saddle bag as they walked with their purchases in hand.

Clark – who is a shameless sneakerhead as Adams revealed earlier this week – wore jeans, a white T-shirt and a brown flannel-like overcoat.

He rocked with green Nike high tops and a matching green baseball cap for a pop of color.

Proving his undying chivalry to his future wife Clark, he lent Tayshia his black puffy jacket while they both walked in masks.

After it was revealed during last week’s finale that Clark had stolen her heart, the couple was finally allowed to go public.

Adams, who was given the coveted title of Bachelorette in a mid-season transition (after Clare Crawley was released early on bail for finding love with Dale Moss) appears to have ended her fairy tale with the addiction specialist.

The couple celebrated Christmas on the West Coast with her family as she gushed, ‘MY HEART IS SO FULL,’ for adding a fiancé to the mix.

The couple headed east to visit Zac’s family in New Jersey and made the trip after their shopping trip when Tayshia posted some selfies on Instagram.

With the actual date of birth portion of the show being thwarted due to pandemic-related security measures, Adams looked excited to get the full Jersey treatment this time.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter last week about their post-television relationship, the couple discussed some quarantine-related challenges after filming.

With the couple on the other shores, the pandemic forced them to keep the spark alive via FaceTime, with a few visits here and there.

‘A long-distance relationship is difficult, even without COVID. So we’ve certainly done well as a couple for the past four months; we need to get to know each other. But at the same time, we had the struggles that a normal relationship has, with people who are far away or just getting to know each other. ‘

Unveiling an episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Adams said, ‘I’m going bicoastal. I’m going to keep my place here [in California], but yes, we are going to live together! ‘

She touched on her and Zac’s love during the season, saying:

‘There were several times when I envisioned a life with him. I think it really solidified when my family was involved simply because I’m really close to my family. ‘

Clark and Adams immediately connected with a few episodes in the franchise and related on a deeper level as both were previously married.

After Zac revealed his troubling history with addiction and broke down the walls, he had Tayshia and he fell for each other.

Their strong bond culminated in Adams sending the second suitor home leading up to the proposal, knowing she only wanted to accept Zac.
