Popular Democratic Party (PPD) representative Rafael “Tatito” Hernández Montañez today, Sunday, expressed support for the appointment of Kermit Lucena Zavala to the Office of the Controller of Puerto Rico.
“With the same detachment and professionalism that CPA Kermit Lucena supported us with his knowledge and technical advice, it will be a privilege to responsibly attend his appointment in our caucus,” said Hernández Montañez on the social network Twitter.

Likewise, Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced also announced the nomination of Maritere Brignoni to the Supreme Court.
During a press conference, Vázquez Garced made the nominations to the Supreme Court and the Office of the Comptroller.
In addition, he said Senate President Thomas Rivera Schatz requested to be considered for the Supreme Court vacancy.
However, Vázquez Garced explained that he informed Rivera Schatz that he was already planning to nominate Brignoni.
