Urban music producer Rafael “Raphy” Pina suggested restoring the Normandy hotel in a message he posted through his Instagram account.
“Let them be clear that we fixed it all at once! Call me, ”Pina noted in her publication that it was just a picture with the words“ Question? Are they selling the Normandie? ”.
Recently, a proposal has been discussed in the legislature to demolish the iconic hotel located at the entrance to Old San Juan Island, which has been abandoned and in disrepair for several years.
This has sparked a debate in which several experts on the matter have opposed the demolition, claiming that it is possible to renovate.
Likewise, a citizen, in the form of protest, has begun to paint the hotel with the Puerto Rican flag to show that the structure is stable and can be renovated.
