Raphy Pina hopes to go to the Dominican Republic with Natti Natasha to give birth to her daughter

San Juan. Raphy Pina told Efe on Tuesday that she is “awaiting” a federal judge’s decision to change a number of conditions for a criminal case and travel to the Dominican Republic for the birth of her daughter with Dominican singer Natti Natasha.

“I’m waiting for the judge to make his decision, and calmly do things as they are and follow the guidelines”Pina said in an interview with Efe, pending the decision of Judge Francisco Besosa of the San Juan Federal Court.

The accusation against Pina, who is also his fiancé’s manager, refers to an FBI raid on April 1, 2020 on a property owned by the also music producer in Caguas.

The accusatory statement indicates that Pina had pistols, rifles, shotguns and ammunition for them, including a Glock model 19, caliber 9 millimeters, and a Smith and Wesson pistol, model SD40, caliber .40 and ammunition.

In turn, he describes that the Model 19 Glock pistol was manipulated to fire more than one shot without manually reloading it.

In case of conviction, Pina could face 10 years in prison.

According to a member of Pina’s work team, he had not lived in the house for nearly nine months and thus was not present at the time of the proceedings.

Besosa’s decision will now be based on a petition presented by Pina on April 13 through his lawyers María Domínguez, Javier Micheo and Manuel Franco.

In said petition, the The music producer’s legal representatives request that the travel restrictions imposed on him be changed as part of his million dollar bond to allow him to travel to the Dominican Republic for the delivery expected on May 28th.

That date coincides with the death of Pina’s father of the same name.

Pina’s request would be ahead travel from April 23 to June 3 to the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, where the delivery would take place.

Pina’s attorneys further allege that their client has already been authorized to use his boat in waters off the coast of Puerto Rico and near the city of Miami, the two places where his movements are restricted as part of the bond.

However, this requires Pina to use a nautical tracker so that the federal authorities know when they use their boat and where they are going.

However, prosecutor María Montañez responded to the request of Pina and her lawyers and assured that the businessman, owner of the Pina Records company, has the comfort to ‘escape’ his responsibilities at federal court and travel to the Dominican Republic, and that Witnessing the birth of your daughter in another country is not valid enough.

“The defendant’s decision to deliver his baby abroad is not a valid reason to change the original bail terms and is considered necessary to ensure that the defendant appears in future proceedings and for the safety of the community,” said he.

“Even the birth of her fourth child is not a circumstance that should allow Defendant Pina, a federal crime convict who is now charged with illegally possessing two guns and more than 500 rounds of ammunition, the jurisdiction of the United States. Leave states and go abroad, ‘he added.
