Puerto Rican Rafael Campos and American Grayson Murray They will share the lead of the Puerto Rico Open at the end of the first three rounds and tomorrow, Sunday, they will be the last to compete in the final round in search of the championship at the Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande.
Campos finished the third day five tricks below par today, Saturday, for a collected card of -14, same as Murray. The Puerto Rican had on his hands the ability to finish the round first only after completing par on the 18th hole, but he missed a short put for a bogey and missed a shot. Both players must be on the first tee of the field at 1:50 pm tomorrow
In total, Campos added six birdies and one bogey during an afternoon where the participants had to deal with occasional rain in the coastal area.
On Friday, Campos closed in a tie for third place Burn Grace.
Australian Cameron Percy and South African Branden Grace share third place with -13.
The other Puerto Rican, Edward Figueroa, completed all 18 holes on 69 shots, scoring four under par (-4).
