Julien Baker shared another song from her upcoming album, Little oblivion. “Favor” features backing vocals from her boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers. Watch the lyrics video, directed by Sabrina Nichols, below.
“We sang on ‘Favor’ in Nashville the same day we recorded vocals for ‘Graceland Too’ and a song of mine,” Dacus said in a statement. “That day had the same atmosphere as when we recorded the boygenius EP.”
Bridgers added, ‘Julien is one of those people whose opinion you want to hear about everything. A true critical thinker with an ever-changing and ridiculously articulated world view. Her music changes in the same way, and this record is my favorite thing she’s ever done. I am sure I will think the same about the next. “
“Favor” is the third song to be released Little oblivion, arriving February 26 via Matador. Baker previously shared the songs ‘Hardline’ and ‘Faith Healer’.
