Leon Edwards focuses on Covington, Diaz and Masvidal on Twitter

Leon Edwards has made it clear that he is ready for everyone now that Khamzat Chimaev is out of their UFC Fight Night headliner on March 13.

So does Colby Covington, who signed UFC president Dana White on Friday as the front runner to fight Edwards next month at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. However, the matchup is far from over.

Edwards (18-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) apparently has no hesitation in tackling Covington (16-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC), as he made it clear on Saturday that he is ready (via Twitter

Colby can get this job too. Then the title. The belt season

In the immediate aftermath of Chimaev’s withdrawal due to COVID-19 complications, Edwards made a big call for Nate Diaz to take the fight. However, Diaz hit him with the stiff arm and turned the Brit off with a famous Conor McGregor meme (via Twitter

Edwards wasn’t too keen on Diaz’s response (20-12 MMA, 15-10 UFC) and let him know (via Twitter

nate that your photoshop skills are just as bad as your fighting record. and you used the line wtf 😂 from conor

And finally, Edwards aimed at his old rival, Jorge Masvidal. The pair have a colorful history, with Masvidal Edwards notoriously hitting backstage after both taking victories at a March 2019 event in London.

The card that Edwards is hopeful will still headline in March is almost exactly two years after the day of the Masvidal incident (35-14 MMA, 12-7 UFC). However, Edwards doesn’t seem optimistic about a solution (via Twitter

We all know that bitch Jorge will be nowhere to be seen when it comes to fighting me.

While the high-profile fights seem plentiful for Edwards, it remains to be seen who, if anyone is, will agree to join him in the octagon in a month’s time.
