Earlier this week, Epic Games revealed that a new skin linked to DC’s speedster The Flash was slated to roll out soon in FortniteWhile some have been able to access the new character skin for a few days, The Flash is now available for all players to purchase from the in-game store.
Epic went to the officer Fortnite Twitter account to let players know that if they haven’t picked up The Flash earlier this week, the iconic superhero can be detained at this point. The arrival of the flash Fortnite not only comes alongside the iconic red suit that Barry Allen is wearing, but a few more items have been added as well. This slate includes a Speed Force lightning bolt pickaxe, a new Speed Force back bling and a “Quick Bite” emote where the character takes a snack break.

As mentioned, Epic made The Flash accessible to some players earlier this week, assuming they could complete a particular event. The Flash Cup was a new Duos tournament that kicked off on February 10 that allowed two players to compete in up to ten games in a three-hour time frame. The team with the highest score in each region could then get their hands on The Flash and its accompanying back bling before the official release takes place tonight.
If you want to pick up The Flash yourself in Fortnite, it should be available in all iterations of the game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices. Conversely, if you’re looking to spend a day shopping and grab some more skins, a new series associated with Disney’s Tron Legacy are also available for now.
