Fortnite changes the most controversial skin in the game

Fortnite makes changes to the game’s most controversial skin. In the popular and free-to-play Battle Royale game, there is a seemingly endless amount of skins, and that’s because skins are the game’s biggest moneylender, other than maybe the Battle Pass. One of the most popular skins in the game are the custom superhero skins, which players like to make all white or all black as it gives them a tactical advantage, or at least this is what other players are accusing the skins of. And it seems like Epic Games agrees as it makes changes to the skins.

It has been revealed that after the v15.30 update, players will no longer be able to make their custom superhero skins all black or all white. We knew before that Epic Games was working on a fix, but we didn’t know when a fix would come, but now we know it will come alongside v15.30. That said, it is unclear how this change will be implemented and whether it will be the only change, but at the moment it is the only change revealed.

For those who don’t know, the charges against the all-white and all-black skins were that they diminish visibility, giving players rocking the skins an unfair advantage, which in turn made the game pay-to-win. Whether these allegations were valid is of course up for debate.

Fortnite is available for free on the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile phones. For more coverage of the free to play and popular Battle Royale game – including all the latest news, rumors and leaks – click here or check out the relevant links below:
