FKA twigs sat down with Gayle King on CBS this morning to discuss the alleged abuse she experienced during her relationship with Shia LeBeouf. In December, Twigs filed a lawsuit against LeBeouf for abuse and sexual assault. In a conversation with King, Twigs discussed the beginning of her relationship with LeBeouf, claiming that he would jump the fence to her house to leave her little gifts. She said she found the gestures “very romantic” at the time, but has come to see the actor “test”. [her] limits’, calling his actions’ inappropriate ‘.
FKA Twigs later told King that LeBeouf got “physical” with her. She said he would “push [her], and then he said, “You fell.” In addition, twigs told a story in which LeBeouf was speeding and allegedly threatened to crash the car while in it. According to Twigs’ he drove down the highway and said that like [she] left him – or, if [she] said that [she] did not love him and like [she] would leave him – that he would hit the car against the side of a wall. She thought, “I thought, wow, he needs so much control over me that he’d rather kill us both.”
Later that night, LeBeouf choked twigs in public, the singer told Gayle King; twigs previously discussed with that night The New York Times and SHEFKA Twigs also reiterated the claim that LeBeouf made her kiss or touch her a certain number of times a day.
Shia LeBeouf, in emails to The New York Times, wrote that “many of these allegations are untrue,” but has not commented on specific allegations. “I’m ashamed of that story and I’m sorry those I hurt,” he wrote. More recently, LeBeouf formally denied FKA Twigs’ allegations in a lawsuit.
