Chris Pratt’s camp says fake tweets are circulating, involving actors of bigotry: ‘Chris never tweeted the offending things’
Chris Pratt’s camp denies sending racist tweets in 2012 and 2013 after a few offensive tweets attributed to him circulated online Wednesday, as his representatives say they are fake.
The rep for the 41-year-old Avengers star told TMZ that the actor had not posted a few racially abusive messages dating back to 2012 and 2013.
“Chris has never tweeted about the offensive things going on today,” a representative for the actor told the outlet. “Every suggestion he made is not only completely false, but also defamatory.”

A Twitter manager told the outlet that ‘this one believes strongly [tweets] to be fake ‘, as the supposedly fake tweets were trending on Wednesday.
The Minnesota-born actor’s rep said he never deleted old tweets, and that another reference to body image – which reads “ #MissUniverse In a way they look like Miss Hungry ” – was authentic.
Pratt got into online controversy last fall after coming under fire from critics wondering why he wasn’t more politically involved, considering his platform as one of Hollywood’s biggest names.

Some labeled Pratt as ‘Hollywood’s Worst Chris’ because they pointed to his involvement with the conservative Zoe Church in Los Angeles as proof that he is secretly a fan of former President Donald Trump.
Pratt’s friends in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, and Robert Downey Jr., defended his character.
Pratt’s wife Katherine Schwarzenegger joined the conversation by responding to an Instagram post about the E! Controversy. as the author and new mom, 31, wrote in a commentary, ‘Is this really what we need?’
“There is so much going on in the world and people are struggling in so many ways,” Katherine continued. “Being mean is so yesterday. There is plenty of room to love all of these guys. Love is what we all need, not meanness and bullying. Let’s try that. ‘

Pratt came under fire for refusing to participate in the country’s current political talk in October when he urged fans to vote for his film, Onward, in the People’s Choice Awards in an Instagram post.
