Breath of the Wild clip has just been awarded

Bending from multiple angles

It is no exaggeration to say that there has been a ‘must see’ almost every month for the past four years. Zelda: Breath of the Wild clip from the community. Likewise, the incredible nature of the clip below cannot be underestimated.

This is without a doubt one of the coolest clips I’ve ever seen. From the Japanese YouTube channel (spotted by Twitter user GamesCage) ゼ ル ダ ね こ, the clip is called “1400m BtB trick shot”. It does exactly what it says on the can: the player jumps out of a window, prepares to surf a Guardian Shield, and then fires an errant arrow. They bounce on an enemy below, slide through the air and follow the arrow all the way; which ultimately hits a Guardian perfectly.

It’s unbelievable! We’ve seen a lot of trick shots up close, or even distant arrow tricks, but rarely that far away (another 1400 meters). Amazingly, the channel actually takes you through the process they used to activate ‘moon jumps’, which in turn were supposed to measure the distance between two points. The video below is actually mathematical!

The channel itself is mainly Japanese oriented, but you can enable subtitles for raw English translations. They even help you connect multiple Switch records (that’s why there is a break in the video). Hats off! I’m going to think about this video for a while.
