Best Buy releases new PlayStation 5 stock, users are complaining about website errors

PS5 shares went in and out on Best Buy this morning, and again, getting anything off the restock was nearly impossible. Stock is moving at lightning speed not only thanks to the millions of PlayStation gamers still trying to get their hands on the console, but also the large number of resellers who use bots to gobble up inventory in seconds. And of course, the flow of users and the refresh frenzy led to various website problems.

Sure, many were able to secure the PS5, especially in the follow-up additions, but as always, Best Buy is popular on Twitter, largely because of those who couldn’t get a PS5, whether that’s because of the website crashing, shopping cart issues, or because bots were storing stock before someone had the chance to even add the console to their cart.

The topping up seems limited to just bundles, which don’t usually go as fast as the standard console, but it seems like it wasn’t this time. At the time of publishing, customers report getting their hands on an order, but by the time you read this, the inventory has probably run out.
