Pop singer Ariana Grande announced on Instagram on Sunday that she is engaged to boyfriend Dalton Gomez. The 27-year-old shared a photo of a shiny diamond ring on her left finger with the caption “forever and then some” along with a series of photos of the couple.
Other celebrities shared congratulations for the newly engaged couple.
Kim Kardashian responded to the singer’s message saying, “Soooo happy for you guys !!! Love you !!!”
Hailey Bieber wrote: “YAYYYYYY !!!! so happy for you guys !!”
Music director Scooter Braun, who works with Grande, added: “Congratulations to these two wonderful souls. Ari we love you and couldn’t be happier for you. Dalton, you are lucky.”
The news of the couple’s engagement comes after nearly a year of dating. The pair debuted their relationship on Instagram by sharing a photo of her embracing Gomez in June. Grande and Dalton also appeared in a quarantine-themed music video together with Justin Bieber for their song “Stuck With U.”
Gomez works as a buying agent for the luxury real estate company Aaron Kirman Group in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Southern California, he is a five-year veteran of the industry, according to the company’s website.
Grande was previously engaged to the star “Saturday Night Live” Pete Davidson, but the two called off their engagement in October 2018 after a whirlwind five-month relationship.
