Amber Heard posted a tweet on Saturday teasing her role in Aquaman 2, reprising her character from the first film.
The 34-year-old is locked in a long-standing feud with her ex-husband Johnny Depp in which they have denied each other’s explosive allegations of domestic violence.
She has previously denied rumors that she was kicked out of the franchise, claiming there were “ paid campaigns ” to try and get her fired.

Heard’s new tweet featured a photo of her reading a novel during a bit of downtime on the set of the first Aquaman movie.
“Before Aquaman pulled out the last pages of this book,” she wrote, adding, “# gettingakindleforaquaman2 @aquamanmovie.”
While promoting the first Aquaman movie in 2018, Heard told Good Morning America that lead actor Jason Momoa had “ adopted this method of extracting the pages of my book so I would pay attention to him. It would drive me crazy because I would have 30 pages left and it would be gone. ‘
Heard confirmed last November that she would play in the sequel, telling Entertainment Weekly, “ Paid rumors and paid social media campaigns don’t dictate [casting decisions] because in reality they have no basis. ‘

Her new tweet about the Aquaman sequel comes less than two weeks after she posted an Instagram video expressing her gratitude to her benefactors.
“I want to say a big thank you to all my online supporters – online supporters and my fans,” she said before apologizing “for the death threats.”
In 2018, she claimed to have received death threats and lost work after accusing Johnny of abuse, and in November 2020, his fans meanly cheated on her on Twitter.

Trolls turned to her five months ago after a judge in the UK ruled that Johnny was violent during the marriage, with some telling her they wished her dead.
A tweet read: ‘#AmberHeardisAnAbuser you big b **** I hope you burn in hell for everything you’ve done … #JusticeForJohnnyDepp Johnny is a great guy who deserves more. AMBER HEARD YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS! ‘
Heard’s new Instagram video showed her sitting on the beach, striking a cheerful tone as she said to her followers, ‘Thank you so much for all you do to support me. I know it’s not easy sometimes, but I appreciate it. ‘
In another shot, she said to her fans, ‘But also, sorry for the death threats,’ as she whispered in a whisper for the apology. “Thank you I love you!”
Depp, 57, and Heard have been in a legal battle through various lawsuits since filing for divorce in May 2016 after just 15 months of marriage.
Days after filing for divorce, she accused him of domestic violence and got a temporary restraining order against him.

Depp has firmly denied the charges, but took a major blow last year when he lost a libel suit he filed against The Sun for calling him a “ woman beater. ”
Judge Mr. Justice Nicol of the Supreme Court of England and Wales ruled The Sun’s claim to be ‘essentially true’.
Depp had to pay £ 628,000 ($ 861,000) in legal fees – and although he tried to appeal the Supreme Court’s ruling, he was dismissed in March.
Meanwhile, Depp is also suing Heard for libel in Virginia over a Washington Post opinion in which she said she was a victim of domestic violence.

She also posted on social media last week that she was the ‘vaccine queen’ after being vaccinated against the corona virus.
