The Gathering game will finally go to open beta in March

Legends is playable on March 23

It’s been a year! Well, it’s been … a tough nine months or so, but it felt like a whole year.

And in that time, I’ve forgotten a lot of games that were going to be a little vague in 2021, or that were pushed further into limbo. That also applies to the coming Magic: The Gathering themed dungeon crawling action romp Magic: Legends!

Just watch, Perfect World Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast are here to remind us that it is indeed a thing, and that it something you can actually play very soon. The PC Open Beta will begin on March 23, after which everyone can try it; after a previous series of closed alpha tests.

As a reminder, it is described as a “free-to-play persistent world” game, which is still framed in a dungeon crawler, but also includes elements of the deck such as “decks” that can be used to cast your spell. / skill choices. You can take a quick look at that idea below.

Ultimately, this thing will hit the PS4 and Xbox One platforms as well.
