Zelda remake specialist Grezzo is hiring for a new “medieval” and “stylish” project

Japanese video game developer Grezzo may not necessarily be a household name, but it has become known within the Nintendo community over the past decade for his work on The Legend of Zelda remakes.

In 2019, it released a remake of the 1993 Game Boy title The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for the Switch.

According to Nintendo Everything, the developer is now recruiting people for a new project on Unity that is described as “medieval” and “stylish” but not photo-realistic. It seeks programmers, effects and UI designers.

“It is stated that the game will use Unity, VisualStudio, git, redmine, and jenkins.”

“The game’s design approach will be ‘medieval’ and ‘stylish’. It won’t be photo-realistic, but will take elements out of reality and give it a design twist. The UI designer is for HUD, menus and of such. “
