Radio host Kyle Sandilands has confirmed that Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares have split up after a ten-month romance.
It was rumored that the 33-year-old actor and 25-year-old Byron Bay waitress had given up their relationship after a report in The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday.
And a day later, Kyle, 49 – who is good friends with Zac – revealed on live radio that it was “ not just a rumor, ” saying, “ I can also confirm after speaking to him yesterday. ”

Kyle told his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that he called the actor to talk about the upcoming Netflix show, Byron Baes.
There were rumors published in Woman’s Day that Zac Vanessa was trying to get on the influencer-focused “ docu soap, ” which Kyle refused to believe.
When he asked his friend about the rumors, Zac apparently admitted that he and Vanessa were no longer together.
Kyle said their split was “recent,” but not “recent yesterday,” and there was “no drama” to their breakup.
“It’s confirmed by Kyle,” Jackie concluded, as Kyle claimed that Zac was just back at work and their busy lives were out of sync.
Kyle and Zac have been friends for years, and the Australian personality even attended his 33rd birthday in Byron Bay in October.
The High School Musical actor first met Vanessa while she was waiting at Byron Bay’s General Store & Café around June or July last year.

She has been loyal to his side as the Hollywood star has traveled across Australia in recent months on a variety of work projects, including filming in Adelaide for the Stan movie Gold and across the country recording the TV series Down to Earth.
The pair flew together to Sydney Airport in late March and returned from Melbourne, where Zac had filmed the Netflix series.
Vanessa had been a fixture at the various location shoots for the project, including a rappelling in NSW’s Blue Mountains on April 1, the last time the couple was seen together.
On Monday, Woman’s Day reported that Zac was ‘pulling the strings’ to get Vanessa a role in the Netflix ‘docu-soap series’ Byron Baes.
According to the publication, the American actor was “ determined to make a star of Vanessa Valladares ” on the upcoming show.
It was reported late last year that Zac, who has lived in Australia for over a year and is based in Byron Bay, couldn’t be happier with Vanessa.
