Zac Efron sells glamorous LA mansion for $ 5.9 million

High School Musical star Zac Efron graduates from his home in Los Angeles. The actor is letting go of his Los Feliz residency, Variety reports. It is available for $ 5.9 million.

The California resident bought the modern mid-century property in 2013 for $ 4 million, hoping to release some cash from his investment.

Efron has lived in South Australia for the past few months and filmed the movie ‘Gold’. Maybe he will extend his stay if he has one less house to worry about in the United States.

The stylish residence has panoramic city views and exudes Hollywood glamor. The modern compound is accessed via a long gated driveway that opens out to the center of the ocean, visible from every room in the house.

Inside, the open floor plan features warm wood, glass walls and an indoor-outdoor flow, with decks running the length of the property.

Considering its status as an A-list friendly hangout, the ad’s description notes that the ‘recently remodeled’ property offers ‘a perfect celebrity getaway’.

With five bedrooms and five bathrooms, the 5,455-square-foot layout features a living room, dining room, and chef’s kitchen adjacent to a family room.

In addition, the house offers a master suite and a spalike bathroom on the main level, plus three additional bedrooms with bathrooms downstairs, along with a separate guest house with one bedroom and one bathroom.

Amenities include a gym, media room, games room, wine room and security cameras. In the contemporary interior, skateboards, artwork and sports memorabilia hang from the huge gallery walls.

The outdoor area overlooks decks with space for alfresco dining and lounging.

The recently redesigned pool and waterfall spa benefit from the privacy and views.

The handsome actor and singer, now 33, rose to prominence with the trilogy of ‘High School Musical’ movies. He also starred in the movies “Neighbors”, “New Year’s Eve”, “17 Again” and “The Greatest Showman”. His Netflix travel story series “Down to Earth With Zac Efron” was a streaming sensation this summer.

Kathrin Nicholson of The Agency holds the list.
