Dominican Amanda Mena dazzled the American Idol jury who, led by singer Katy Perry, shouted in one voice: You are going to Hollywood !, where the next round of the event will take place.
For his part, Luke Bryan, one of the judges said that “we had never done this before”, while Perry is heard saying “you are one of a kind”.
Mena, who has previously taken part in reality shows such as “America’s Got Talent” and “La Voz Kids” sang the song Golden Slumbers by the London group “The Beatles”.
“We’re back baby,” the artist wrote in an Instagram post along with a photo showing her pass to the famous American Idol contest.
Amanda Mena received the Golden Buzzer from America’s Got Talent in 2019 and won The Voice competition in 2014.
