In one universe, Marvel’s Eternals came out last November. In another universe it will be released next week. In our universe it is currently scheduled for November. And if you’re annoyed and frustrated by this, imagine what it’s like to be a part of it.
Of course the delay of Eternals (and seemingly ever another movie imaginable) is no one’s fault. The spread of covid-19 is the culprit and eventually all of these movies will come out. But for actress Salma Hayek, whose new movie bliss is out this weekThe journey to the Marvel Cinematic Universe begins long before that.
“Oh God, it’is bizarre, ”Hayek told Io9 when asked if he should wait for the movie. ‘You know, I was one of the first people they cast … They cast me months before they announced it. And you no one can tell. You have to wait. You are terrified to speak up if it leaks and everyone leaked. I have not leaked! I was the secret! “
Hayek has found it particularly difficult to keep the secret because she believes her role as leader of the Eternals Ajak is a milestone.

The way she works with the camera will feel and look different from anything you’ve ever seen in the Marvel universe. Without losing the DNA. Does that mean Eternals 2? Nomadland 2? We do not know. Could be! But meanwhile, Hayek is in another science fiction movie this week: bliss, co-starring Owen Wilson. It’s Friday on Amazon. Eternals is currently scheduled for November 5th.
