Yankees agree to Corey Kluber

The Yankees take flight on Corey Kluber.

The two-time AL Cy Young Award winner agreed on an $ 11 million deal that will take him to The Bronx, The Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed Friday, pending a physical deal.

Kluber held a showcase on Wednesday after two seasons of injuries questioned him. The workout, held at a facility in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was run by Yankees director of health and performance Eric Cressey.

Sources told The Post that Kluber threw 89-91 mph while throwing 30 pitches for about 25 teams, including the Mets.

The 34-year old right-wing has made eight starts in the past two seasons, lost most of 2019 – his last season with the Indians – to a broken right arm and was attacked by the Rangers after one inning due to shoulder problems.

Kluber worked with both Cressey and Yankees pitching coach Matt Blake in Cleveland. He challenges for a spot in a rotation with ace Garret Cole and several question marks.
