Ximena Duque was released from hospital and will continue to recover in her Miami hometown.
Ximena Duque announced through her official account on Instagram that she was eventually released from hospital after being hospitalized in an emergency due to pneumonia in the midst of her COVID-19 infection in the final stages of her third pregnancy.
“Home to further recover … With an intact faith and a stronger spirit,” Duque said from the privacy of his home in the stories from his official account on the Instagram platform.
The 35-year-old interpreter did not go into details about her current health condition, but the fact is that she plans to continue to recover at home until the birth of her daughter Skye.
Clara Giraldo, mother of the Colombian actress, spoke through her stories on Instagram to announce that her famous daughter’s home has been disinfected by a cleaning team so that she can recover satisfactorily after returning from the health center.
On the other hand, Giraldo thanked all the people who knew about Duque’s health condition: “This is a message of thanks, first to God for holding us in the palm of one hand in this COVID process. Ximena Duque was incarcerated in a hospital in Miami
Last weekend, Ximena Duque was admitted to a hospital in Miami on the advice of her gynecologist after presenting complications from COVID-19.
‘I was in the hospital for a few days. I lay at home, rested, took care of myself, but there had been a fever for many days and my gynecologist asked me to go to the hospital, ” the actress told stories on her Instagram profile at the time.
Duque went on to explain, “I arrived at the hospital with a picture of pneumonia in both lungs, a normal picture for COVID patients, but in my case being pregnant is a bit more delicate because the treatment cannot be as aggressive”.
Despite her pneumonia diagnosis, the Colombian also stressed that the baby she is expecting is out of danger. However, Duque explained that they had to apply serum to avoid induced labor, after medical staff realized his amniotic fluid had seriously diminished.
Currently, Ximena Duque is recovering in the privacy of her home in the care of her family.
