Xbox Game Pass is adding its first games of 2021

Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC have their first new games in 2021. Today Microsoft announced three new games to be added to the Game Pass library: Injustice 2, The Little Acre, and eFootball PES 2021. Unfortunately, this is the scope of the new additions right now, and depending on which platform you’re on or the subscription level, all three may not even be playable.

The first of the three games, Injustice 2, is available on both console and PC. This means that whether you’re on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or PC, you can now play the game through Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate. Meanwhile, the other two games are added to the console version of the subscription service.

At the time of publication, it is unclear how long any of the three games will be added. Microsoft never discloses this information, and this time is no exception. None of the three games will make it to Xbox Game Studios, meaning none of them should be permanent additions. In other words, if you trigger something, make sure to watch them sooner rather than later.

PES 2021 is a remarkable addition for those who like an old football simulation, but for the rest of the subscribers, Injustice 2 is probably the trio’s most striking game. What’s interesting about the addition is that it is several years old at this point, which is why some industry fans think this could be a hint that a Injustice 3 announcement is around the corner. That said, at this point in time this is just circumspect speculation.
