Wyatt Pike continues from American idol for an important but personal reason.
The singer, who stunned the jury Lionel Richie Katy Perry and Luke Bryan when he performed an original song dedicated to his sister during his audition, he made it to the top 16 of the competition as a host Ryan Seacrest revealed that he had surprisingly quit, citing “personal reasons” for his departure.
On April 14, Wyatt took to Instagram to break his silence on the show, but did not provide additional details about his departure American idol so abrupt.
“I had to leave the @ AmericanIdol competition for personal reasons, but I am so grateful to be able to play music for the rest of my life,” said the 20-year-old. “Fellow participants – miss you all, good luck! Thanks to everyone for your support … stay tuned for more musical stuff soon!”
In the comments section, many followers noted that they were saddened by Wyatt’s decision, but said they would continue to support the artist in all of his future endeavors.
