Michael Cole welcomed fans to a new era of SmackDown. Cole introduced his new streaming partner, Pat McAfee.
Universal champion Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Paul Heyman made their way to the ring. Reigns believes management will never again put him in a triple threat for beating a Hall of Famer and a future Hall of Famer. Reigns pointed out that no one wants to face him now.
Suddenly, Cesaro’s music was playing and he walked into the ring. He took on Reigns in the ring. Cesaro picked up a microphone, but Reigns just walked away.
Behind the scenes, Cesaro approached Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. Cesaro was furious that Reigns disrespected him in the ring. He demanded a game with Reigns tonight and said it doesn’t have to be the title. Pearce seemed to disagree, but Deville promised to talk to Reigns about it.

Kayla Braxton interviewed Paul Heyman and asked if Reigns would accept Cesaro’s challenge. Heyman decides to give the fans what they want. Tonight Cesaro will face Jey Uso in the main tournament.
Sami Zayn walked to the ringHe said Owens, the fans, and Michael Cole poisoned Paul’s mind. Owens comes out and this leads to:
Kevin Owens derrotó a Sami Zayn per count. After the game, Owens brought Zayn back into the ring and hit the Stunner.
Behind the scenes, Apollo Crews was with Commander Azeez. He said Big E isn’t here tonight. He introduced Commander Azeez and said he is a former member of the Nigerian Guard.

The street profits broke when the team put on the ring with a blue carpet and balloons.
They streamed a video package about Belair vs Sasha Banks from WrestleMania. Dawkins and Ford looked excited after showing the video.
Then Ford gave Belair a great introduction. Bianca said Banks pressured her and they were both making history. She said she left Banks with a scar.
Belair noted that they are just starting to make history. Then Belair and The Street Profits shared a hug.

Kayla Braxton entrevistó at Sasha Banks Back stage. Banks was furious and looked at the scar on her side.
Kayla Braxton later interviewed Bayley who challenged Belair and promised to take his title.
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode derrotaron a The Street Profits to retain the titles when Ziggler hit Ford with the Zig Zag for the win.
Kayla Braxton interviewed Cesaro, who said he belongs in the ring with Roman Reigns.
Then they show Reigns in their lobby with a surprised look on his face. He couldn’t believe that Cesaro thought he belonged in the same ring as him. He urged Jey Uso to take care of Cesaro.
In the stellar, Cesaro on Jey Uso by DQ when Rollins comes in and attacks Cesaro. Rollins returns to the ramp and yells at Cesaro that this isn’t over yet, to end the show.
