LINTHICUM, Md. (WJZ) – A written threat sparked a large police presence at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport Monday night, officials said.
Southwest Airlines Flight 2104 from Phoenix to Baltimore landed on BWI around 5:15 PM, at which point police investigated what an airport spokesman called a “ suspicious message. ”
Specific details of the threat were not readily available.

The plane had 101 passengers and crew on board, the airport said.
“Out of great caution, the plane was parked in a remote part of the airport,” the airport said in a statement on Twitter. “Passengers were safely unloaded from the aircraft into shuttle buses and taken to the airport terminal.”
Officials later found the threat not credible.
“Our crew followed the protocol by notifying the appropriate authorities and moving the aircraft to a remote location pending further instructions. The authorities promptly arrived and boarded the aircraft, transferring the 97 passengers and six crew on buses to be transferred to the terminal, ”said a Southwest spokesman.
