A sadistic squirrel carries out a bloody assault on a Queens neighborhood, leaving some injured people afraid to go outside.
“The squirrel didn’t care, he just wanted something – he wanted blood,” masked Rego Park resident Micheline Frederick, 56, told The Post Wednesday. “A few days after that, I came out with a shovel, just in case, looking around.”
The squirrel survivor also told ABC 7 that she has good reason to keep rattling through the rogue rodent: “Next thing I know is it’s an MMA cage match and I’m losing. It’s just running down my leg and I’m like, ‘OK squirrel, hello – what are you doing?’ ”
The bushy-tailed beast “bit me or scratched my neck,” Frederick said of the invasion that left her hands bloody and bruised on December 21.
Because she’d had at least eight bites and her pinky finger was “ pretty chewed up, ” doctors from a nearby emergency room sent Frederick to the emergency room for rabies syringes.
Then she warned her neighbor, Licia Wang, of the impending threat.
However, her message was not enough: despite being on the lookout, Wang was also beaten by the animal.
‘I’ve tried to shake it off, but I can’t, you know – because squirrels have claws that cling to your winter coat. There’s no way you can shake it off, ”Wang told ABC 7 of her own recent showdown with the fluffy madman, who may be the same one that attacked Frederick.
Three other people – at least – have reported recent encounters with the bloodthirsty vermin near 65th Drive near Fitchett Street. It is unclear whether all incidents were committed by the same terror, or whether a pack of squirrels is at work, but regardless, residents now live in fear of being attacked.

Despite the community’s pleas, the city only recommended that they hire a licensed trapper, which they did. Until now, the furry monster remains on the run.
