According to The Telegraph, CR7 was asked to be the face of tourism in the Asian country and they offered it six million euros a year.
The idea was to use Cristiano’s image in commercial campaigns, he would have to travel to Saudi Arabia to visit and develop the plan.
The Asian country wants to continue to improve its image worldwide by using football and its numbers, but Cristiano Ronaldo said no.

Arabia already hosted the Spanish Super Cup last January 2020, Barcelona, Valencia, Atlético and Real Madrid participated in that tournament, the latter being the one to take the title. This championship caused a mass phenomenon in the nation.
