Mexican actor Rodrigo Mejía has passed away in February at 45 years, as confirmed by the National Association of Interpreters (ANDI) of the Aztec country, because of Covid-19, leaving behind a wide legacy of roles in popular soap operas that shocked many today when they saw his photo with the news of death.
Rodrigo has been a part of many people’s lives through his work, although his name may never have gained the popularity of other industry giants with whom he shared the screen, many of whom are currently in mourning.

- ‘Control Z’: Netflix series (2020) starring Ana Becerril, Michael Ronda and Zión Moreno, where Rodrigo was Rodrigo’s last premiere and played Natalia’s father, a character played by Macarena García.
- ‘The Unforgivable’ (2015): Iván Sánchez, Grettel Valdez and Ana Brenda Contreras led the cast of this revenge-laden novel in which Rodrigo played the role of Nicolás.
- ‘Be careful with the angel’ (2008): William Levy and Maite Perroni lived an impossible love in this plot in which Rodrigo gave birth to Nelson.
