HOW IS THE RANKING?

Atlético de Madrid are at the top of the table with a significant advantage over its closest rivals, but ‘Cholo’ Simeone’s team cannot be trusted as there are 36 units to contest. After their victory over Bilbao, the Colchoneros have 62 points, six units ahead of Barcelona (56) and eight points ahead of Real Madrid (54). In fourth place is Sevilla with 48 units and in fifth place is Real Sociedad with 45 points. It should be noted that these five clubs are currently classified for European competitions next season.
