White Sox swept the double head in Boston

BOSTON (Neth.) – Yermín Mercedes started a three-run attack in the fourth with a panoramic homerun and the Chicago White Sox completed their doubleheader sweep by beating the Boston Red Sox 5-1 on Sunday.

Nick Madrigal had two hits and produced two touchdowns for Chicago, which bounced back to .500.

In Game 1, Tim Anderson homered on the first pitch of the game and Dallas Keuchel threw five solid innings.

JD Martinez hit an RBI-single for Boston’s lone run in the second game.

Returning to their traditional blank uniform with red letters in Game 2, the Red Sox lost a third time in four games after a nine-game winning streak.
