Festivities are underway in what has been a categorically strange year. GTA Online remains possibly one of the safest ways for players to gather virtually this holiday season. That is, if they manage to survive past the missiles, gunshots, sniper rounds, and a slew of other powerful weapons.
GTA Online’s Los Santos is covered in snow this time of year and fans can enjoy the festivities with their friends with a few snowball fights.
Christmas decorations are seemingly everywhere in GTA Online, especially interiors like the Diamond and the Penthouse. However, the outdoors also includes some cool decorations for players to gather around, such as a huge Christmas tree.
Finding the Christmas tree in GTA Online
The tree is a regular part of GTA Online’s Festive Surprise every year, and while it doesn’t bear the above name this year, everything else remains the same.
The tree is located in Legion Square / San Andreas Ave on the map and players can see it from afar. It only appears in GTA Online and not Story Mode, but the modding community has been able to bring the tree to fans of the single player mode as well.
“/>Aside from the tree, Holiday 2020 in GTA Online brings a whole host of cool bonuses and gifts, much to the delight of the player. One of the newer cars in the latest title update, the Grotti Brioso 300, is currently available for free from the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website.
Players will receive bonuses for easily logging into the game between December 22nd and December 30th. These bonuses include:
- The Vibrant Stitch Emissive Mask
- The Red Bleeder festive sweater
- The Green Cluckin ‘Festive Sweater
- The Tartan livery for the Ocelot Ardent, Buckingham Akula and Karin Technical Custom
- The Candy Cane livery for the Comet Safari, HVY APC and HVY Insurgent Pick-Up Custom
- A care package that includes the Firework Launcher, 20 Firework Rockets, a full supply of Snacks and Armor, 25 Sticky Bombs, 25 Granades, 10 Proximity Mines and 10 Molotovs
