When will Cyberpunk Update 1.2 be released?

It’s been a rough week for CD Projekt Red after their systems were hacked and the source code for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 was stolen and reportedly sold.

But we are still looking forward to the 1.2 update and no doubt CD Projekt Red will look forward to going ahead and not getting put off their plans by this incident.

So when will the 1.2 update come out?

When will the Cyberpunk 1.2 update be released?

The 1.1 update was released in January 2021 and resolved many of the issues present in the game.

But Cyberpunk 2077 is far from a polished game yet, so CDPR will try to get some more kinks out in this next 1.2 update.

According to their roadmap, both the 1.1 and 1.2 updates would be released in early 2021.

Roadmap for Cyberpunk 2077

The roadmap does not give an exact date, but both points on the roadmap are close to each other, which leads us to suspect that update 1.2 will be released sometime in late February, so hopefully in the coming weeks.

CD Projekt Red has not announced whether this recent hacking incident will delay their plans, but nothing indicates it will.

PS Store

Cyberpunk 2077 is still missing from the PlayStation Store, having been removed as the console versions were extremely broken at launch.

Rumor has it that the 1.2 update will fix enough issues that Sony will add the game back to the PlayStation Store, which should hopefully restore some confidence in the game and CD Projekt Red as a whole.
