WhatsApp will soon stop working on these iPhones and Android phones
WhatsApp will stop working Phones smart devices with operating systems before iOS 9 and Android 4.0.3 in 2021. The messaging platform will soon be incompatible with older phones.
That means you have to upgrade to a newer operating system to continue using WhatsApp. This is part of the company’s drive to eliminate appliances plus old that boot legacy operating systems and fail to comply with the latest messaging platform updates and security.
Last year, WhatsApp became incompatible with it smart phones with iOS 8 or earlier and Android phones with version 2.3.7 or earlier. Here’s a list of smartphones that will not support WhatsApp later this year.

IPhones before iPhone 4 will not use WhatsApp from next year. You need at least iOS 9 or later to continue using the social messaging app.

Phones without Android 4.0.3 will lose access to WhatsApp. These include models like the HTC Desire, LG Optimus Black, Motorola Droid Razr and Samsung Galaxy S2 released around 2012.
Some users can continue to use WhatsApp on their older smartphones as their operating systems may have received a patch with an update.
