What is the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug of the Cold War? Error code that allegedly bans Zombies players

There are reports that Black Ops Cold War Zombies players receive the ‘Sail 630 Nuclear Bug’ error code and their accounts are permanently banned afterwards.

UPDATE – April 7: Treyarch’s Community Manager, FoxHoundFPS, posted on Reddit an update on this issue and confirmed that their team is investigating more about it. Despite many players saying they are getting banned with this bug, he says players should check enforcement policy for violations and this ban is not due to this bug.

We are aware that some players see the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug message and then cannot connect while seeing a ban message. The ban message is not a product of broken errors. Please visit this link for enforcement policy questions.

I have spoken to our teams about the recent Sail 630 Nuclear Bug threads and reports, and this is what I want to share.

Sail 630 Nuclear Bug: This error sequence is currently displayed instead of the default disconnect language when disconnected in the Zombies menus on the PC. PC players would usually see, “The connection to the Blizzard game server has been lost. Please exit and try again. BLZBNTBGS000003F8. “

We encourage players to continue playing Zombies as usual, including chasing high rounds and personal bests.

Original Story:

In the early days of Black Ops Cold War, the Zombies Player World Record was abruptly set by consistent crashes. Now a new error code has kicked Zombies players back to the menu, claiming their accounts are permanently banned when they log back in.

Since April 2, the ‘Sail 630 Nuclear Bug’ has been crashing PC players’ Zombies games at high levels. Reddit user Korlesa was reportedly banned after receiving this code and made a post highlighting the issue.

In the post titled “People Falsely Banned While Playing High Laps in Zombies on PC,” Korlesa described how “people get a” Sail 630 Nuclear Bug “error after more than 50 rounds. When exiting Battle. we just see that we have been permanently banned. “

To back up their claim, Korlesa has collected more than 50 posts on the Activision Support page claiming that players were falsely banned after receiving the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug.

Korlesa summarized these reports, highlighting what several of them have in common:

  • They were on PC
  • They played Zombies
  • They were on a high lap (50+)
  • They got the same error (Sail 630 Nuclear Bug)
Black Ops Cold War Zombies

Many other players in the comments said they have encountered the same problem. XPGO said they were playing the game with friends who were on the console and at round 50 only XPGO received the error code and then got permanently banned.

Treyarch’s Community Manager, Josh Torres, aka FoxhoundFPS, commented on the Reddit post. “I cannot help with this problem,” he said. “All violations undergo a thorough review process by the security team before being enforced.”

As more and more players report the error code, Treyarch will likely recognize the problem. As for players who claim their account has been wrongly banned, it remains to be seen whether they will get their account back.
