Shannon Bourke was enjoying a beer on Christmas Day when a currawong joined him and started drinking from his schooner glass.
A video of the curious currawong sitting on a phone drinking beer was uploaded to Instagram on January 3.

In a hilarious attempt, the man offered the bird another alcoholic drink for him to enjoy.

The bird could be seen contemplating the drink before returning to his trusty beer.
“Maybe you and I should hang out more,” Mr. Bourke said.
He can hear the bird tell it to slow down as it starts taking larger sips.
“Watch out, you get a hangover on Christmas Day.”
