Wendy’s spares no one on #NationalRoastDay – even Armie Hammer

Wendy’s should join the Deep-Friars Club.

Don’t let the company’s innocent-looking ginger mascot fool you – they are masters at verbally grilling the competition (just ask Steak ‘n Shake).

Now, the sour-tongued fast-food company is confused with #NationalRoastDay, a made-up tradition in which Wendy’s dedicated a brutal bevy of custom insults to willing participants on Twitter.

And even scandal-plagued actor Armie Hammer faced their flames.

“Time for everyone’s favorite made-up social media vacation,” the fast food chain wrote in a tweet with more than 46,000 on Wednesday Loves. “Her #NationalRoastDay, now for example. Drop a “Roast Me” below and feel it burn. “

Needless to say, no one was safe from Wendy’s spicy skillet.

“Cheers to made-up vacations,” tweeted New Belgium Brewing“Bring on the roast, we’ve got a fat tire ready to soften the burn.”

The burger chain took the fizz out of Coca-Cola by writing, “Can I get a cup for water? #NationalRoastDay. They referred to a frequent request by freeloaders from fast food suppliers.

Responding to a roast request from Oreo, They wrote: “New taste idea: don’t.”

And they absolutely melted Velveeta with the barb: “How are you a verified account if you’re not even verified cheese? #NationalRoastDay

It wasn’t just food and beverage companies that got chopped up by Wendy’s linguistic meat grinder.

In their most daring roast in the wire, Wendy’s flambé Lionsgate films have a reference to ‘Social Network’ actor Armie Hammer, who recently made headlines for alleged cannibalistic desires.

“We’d lend you a hand, but we’re afraid one of your actors will eat it,” they joked in the now deleted tweet

They also defended the “Twilight” franchise featuring, “Name an actor who isn’t trying to make a living in your movies.”

“Congratulations for being the number one search engine that shows up when people misspell Google”, they snapped at Microsoft Bing.

Meanwhile, T-Mobile’s ears are no doubt still ringing of this boutiqueTo: “Please wait, a roast representative will be with you in 2-14 hours.”

Wendy’s even took a chance on the king of insults himself, British chef and “Kitchen Nightmares” host Gordon Ramsay, for allegedly copying their methods. “Create a food empire by insulting people to stay relevant? Really original, Gordon, ” they tweeted along featuring a photo of the iconic “Spiderman vs. Spiderman” meme with images of Wendy and Ramsay digitally pasted over the superheroes.

Wendy’s is no stranger to serving up sick burns. Like Michael Corleone from ‘The Godfather’ making a hamburger, they have verbally murdered almost all of their fast food rivals, from Burger King to McDonald’s
