Wendy Williams reveals she has been in touch with Method Man

Turns out the Wu-Tang Clan used to be something to fuck with.

Wendy Williams revealed she was in touch with Wu rapper Method Man – “back in the coke days” – during an interview with DJ Suss One sometime in the 1990s, which aired Thursday.

The topic came up semi-organically as Williams, 56, discussed her past problems with cocaine, when she said, “I smoked a blunt with [Method Man] while I gave him a bath and it was a one night stand. (Williams repeatedly confuses Method Man and Redman, referring to Method Man as ‘the leader of the largest group in the world’, which probably won’t be a good fit for Wu-Tang mastermind RZA.)

“He will deny it – maybe not,” she added.

“It wasn’t in the movie,” interrupted DJ Suss One, referring to Williams’ upcoming Lifetime biopic, which spurred her recent press tour.

Williams said the incident was left out of the film because Method Man – née Clifford Smith, 49 – “apparently is still very angry with me” about the incident.

Williams said she was at a club where the clan was partying and Method Man approached her after being on her show before. “I had weed, but he had better,” she added.

‘I think I hit my eyes and rocked my shoulders and I said, you know,’ do you want to come over? ‘and he said’ Yes, ‘”Williams explained in the clip, giving the couple’s names a trend on Twitter Thursday night. The two were able to leave the club without anyone seeing them and went to Williams’ Jersey City penthouse, “where she bathed him in her hot tub and smoked more weed.”

“That was in the coke days,” she said, adding, “I don’t remember what he did, I’m not going to involve him in that.”

Page six has reached out to Williams and Method Man for, ah, clarification? Wendy Williams: The Movie debuts Saturday on Lifetime.
