Warzone update adds mysterious thunderstorm

Looks like a storm is coming Call of Duty: WarzoneAfter one of the last updates to the game, a number of thunderstorms started to appear for some players in Verdansk. And while it’s not yet known what the storms could indicate, they seem to be plaguing future contents of some sort.

In the past few days, players came in Call of Duty: Warzone begin to notice that there are storms over certain areas of the game map. These storms are indicated by gray clouds with irregular lightning strikes coming from the clouds. It’s not known why the storms appear in the first place, but their addition has sparked a lot of theories and speculation from fans.

An idea that some War zone players have suggested adding a real-time weather system to the game. This could help match a bit more based on the weather effects that would occur in Verdansk. It’s uncertain if this will hold true in the end, but the idea behind it is cool and could make it happen War zone feel that much fresher.

While weather systems are a popular idea, another is the idea that Zombies could be coming to Call of Duty: WarzoneThe popular secondary mode in the Call of Duty series has not crossed War zone nevertheless, these storms seem to plague that something dark could soon descend over Verdansk. Not to mention, there have been a few other plagues in the past few days that indicate Zombies is arriving soon enough.

Whatever these storms plague, chances are it will be revealed in Season 2 of Call of Duty: WarzoneWhile Activision hasn’t yet revealed all the details about the free-to-play shooter’s next season, it will start around the end of February. With this in mind, we should learn a lot more in the next two weeks.
